The Ford Cove harbour is located near the beginning of Central Road, at Ford’s Cove, on the southwest side of Hornby Island. There are two long fingers, one for recreational boaters with transient moorage available and one for commercial fishing vessels. Additional short finger floats are available for day trippers and runabouts. There is a timber approach and wharfhead. The facility is protected by a quarried rock breakwater and a floating log breakwater.
